Cartoon Network Reworks Promo Group

Cartoon Network has expanded its promotions marketing team, relocating two of its top members to Los Angeles and Chicago.

Announcing the move on Sept. 27 as a way to better serve its clients, the network promoted Terri Tuttle to senior director in Chicago and Sabina Spigel to director in Los Angeles.

Tuttle, a former director, manages the Chicago and Midwest region, where she has formed partnerships with Kellogg’s, General Mills, Kraft and Frito Lay.

Spigel, a former manager, oversees the Los Angeles, with such clients as toy makers Mattel, Bandai and Playmates and movie studios and home video divisions including Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Dream-Works, Sony, Miramax.

The expansion is designed to help Cartoon Network strengthen its client relationships, says Phyllis Ehrlich, senior VP-promotions marketing, Cartoon Network.

“Our trademark has been working closely with our partners in building customized promotions,” Ehrlich says. “[This] will enable us to be closer to our clients and deliver even better service and promotions.”

The network’s promotions marketing group leverages clients’ product messaging creating integrated, custom promotions for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim properties. The group is a division of the Cartoon Network advertising sales and marketing team.
