American Eagle Outfitters Trades T-Shirts for Jean Try-Outs

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

American Eagle Outfitters is driving store visits with an offer for a T-shirt to customers who try on a pair of AE jeans.

People who try on any pair of AE jeans in-store will receive a graphic T-shirt featuring AE’s summer music festival, the New American Music Union, with a black-and-white emblem design, concert dates and headlining bands.

The shirts, which would normally sell for $15.50, are available in girl’s sizes XS through XL and guy’s sizes XS through XXL.

The company created the offer to reward customers and build awareness for its all-new back-to-school denim collection. Girls can choose from seven different blue jean varieties, while guys have four different styles to pick from AE’s denim collection.

Customers can also access free performances and other festival content at http://www.ae.com starting Aug. 12.
