On the marketing food chain, dancing inflatables (or “wacky waving inflatable arm-flailing tubes,” for you “Family Guy” fans) are pretty far down toward the be-eaten end, with the giant gorillas and the spinning sidewalk windvanes. But that doesn’t mean that marketers don’t have opinions about their promotional pluses and minuses, or that someone hasn’t collected those opinions. “Needed: More powerful blowers.”

“Improve wind resistance.”

“The dancing thing has gotten old. Maybe a flame would catch more attention.”

“Blower types for various styles.”

“Don’t buy from China.”

“Some townships are very stupid and won’t let companies put them out front to attract customers. Need a permit, variance and act of God to use them.”

“Biggest complaint: Noise of blower.”
