Aflac, Office Depot Team Up on NASCAR Circuit

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Aflac is upping the ante on its NASCAR sponsorship in a new relationship with Office Depot.

Building on its inaugural season as a NASCAR marketing partner, Aflac will be the primary sponsor of Carl Edwards and the no. 99 Ford Fusion car for eight races next season. The Aflac duck logo will be displayed on the hood of the car. Office Depot has been the primary sponsor of the Edwards car and the Roush Fenway Racing team since its initial season as a NASCAR sponsor in 2005.

Aflac will be an associate sponsor for the Edwards car for the other races in next year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup season.

“This sponsorship will allow us to expand our marketing efforts and increase the brand recognition of Aflac Racing amongst our core customers,” said Paul Amos, Aflac president and COO, in a statement.

Aflac is the official supplemental insurance partner of NASCAR. Office Depot is NASCAR’s office products sponsor.
