Zones Reports 18% Increase in Third Quarter Sales

Information technology direct marketer Zones Inc. reported net sales for the third quarter ending Sept. 30 increased 18% to $163 million, compared to $138 million in sales for the same quarter in 2006. It reported net income of $2.6 million.

Net sales for the nine months ending Sept. 30 were $503 million, up from $417million for the corresponding period last year, an increase of more than 20%.

Zones is a multi-channel business-to-business direct marketer. It sells products via telemarketing, catalogs and the Internet. It offers more than 150,000 products from manufacturers such as Adobe, Apple, Avaya, Cisco, Epson, HP, IBM, Microsoft and Toshiba.
