Zkid Network Co. plans to mail 10 million direct mail pieces to families with children between 4 and 10 years old in an effort to interest subscribers in its McGruff KidsKeep Safe Internet program.

The offer is an opportunity to receive the McGruff Child Safety Tool Kit free with a $6.95 shipping and handling charge.

The kit includes Zkid’s Internet Software CD, an inkless fingerprint kit and self-laminating ID cards for kids. The value of the package is $39.95, said a company statement.
