Yahoo! Publisher Network Updates Terms and Conditions

Posted on

On Monday, the Yahoo! Publisher Network sent an e-mail to its publishers about updates to its terms and conditions. Compared to the prior version of the terms and conditions to the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program, there seems to be two small changes that will not affect many publishers.

The first is under the “Implementation” header, and reads: “You agree that you will not distribute from or promote on Your Sites or Your RSS Feeds any software application that is (or may reasonably be construed as) spyware, adware or trackware.”

The second is under the header of “Your Representations, Warranties, and Ongoing Obligations” header, and reads: “If you are a sole proprietor, you are not an employee of Yahoo! Search Marketing; if you are an entity, you are not owned by an employee(s) of Yahoo! Search Marketing.”
