Wunderman has promoted vice chairman David M. Sable to the newly created position of chief operating officer of Wunderman. Marcus H. Starke has joined the agency, replacing Sable as president and CEO of the Europe/Middle East, Africa region vacated by Sable.
Sable’s promotion will allow Wunderman chairman and CEO Daniel Morel to devote more time to the agency’s digital practice, acquisitions and the growing markets of Asia and Latin America. Sable is based in New York and continues to report to Morel.
Starke is based in Frankfurt and reports directly to Morel. He most recently served as chairman and CEO of Publicis Frankfurt. Before that, he was CEO of 141 Worldwide’s European operation.
