Votes Sought in Tic Tac Mints Contest

The Tic Tac brand is asking the public for its help to narrow down the field of entries in its latest contest, which asked users to create videos showing their best Tic Tac moment.

The company describes a “Tic Tac Moment” as a feeling of joy, exhilaration, refreshment or something similar that was produced as a result of consuming a Tic Tac mint.

More than 45 30-second consumer-generated videos were submitted in the video contest, which kicked off in April. Visitors to http://www.Mintertainment.com can view the clips and vote on their top pick through July 3 where 16 semi-finalists will be selected.

A panel of judges will then choose the winners. The grand-prize winner will receive $10,000 and the first-prize winner will earn a $1,500 Best Buy gift card. Lesser prizes include a year’s supply of movie tickets and Tic Tac candy.

Tic Tac kicked off the promotion with in-store displays and a national FSI. It also offered free Mintertainment guides in-store, which featured manufacturer coupons and a T2 All Access card, which offered on restaurants, movie rentals and snack discounts.

The Web site also features celebrity “Tic Tac Moments” from “Deal or No Deal” host Howie Mandel, Omarosa from NBC’s reality show “The Apprentice” and Jonathan Lipnicki from “Jerry Maguire.”

Online marketing and in-store P-O-P support the promotion. Veux Marketing created and implemented the contest.
