Walt Disney/Pixar is building hype around its latest animated film with a more than 42 million piece mailing from Valpak and a sweepstakes overlay.

Valpak has branded its iconic blue envelopes with images from “Ratatouille” offering the chance to win a trip to Paris.

The grand-prize package includes airfare, hotel accommodations, a French dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant, a cruise on the Seine River and museum passes. Entry forms are available in Valpak envelopes or online at Valpak.com.

The sweepstakes runs though Aug. 10. Banners support the promotion.

Valpak is also distributing nearly 2,000 free movie vouchers through July 27 in its envelopes good for “Ratatouille” in theaters nationwide.

The promotion marks the fourth of its kind between Valpak and Disney. The direct marketer in March sent out 44 million mailers with a sweepstakes offer tied to “Meet the Robinsons.” Other movie tie-ins include “The Santa Clause 3” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.”

“Ratatouille” tells the tale of a rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a chef, despite his family’s wishes. He finds himself in Paris in a restaurant where he befriends a garbage boy and tries to live out his dream. Remy becomes torn between following his passion and returning to his previous existence as an ordinary rat.

The Disney/Pixar film debuted as the No. 1 film over the weekend with box office sales of $47.2 million.
