USPS Issues New Rule on Mailings With Coins

The U.S. Postal Service has issued a new ruling for mailings containing coins or tokens that are visible through a window envelope. In order to qualify for automation letter rates, such mailings must:

*Be affixed to a component of the mail piece.

*Be covered in a second wrapping.

*Cannot interfere with the address or the barcode.
