TV Retailer HSN to Offer Co-Branded Credit Card

HSN, the television shopping network, will offer a new credit card to its viewers. The company chose Providian Financial Corp. to provide the card.

The HSN card will offer holders points for dollars spent, which can be used to purchase HSN merchandise. In addition, cardholders receive a $10 credit for HSN merchandise when they sign up.

“We’re very excited to be working with Providian,” said Paul Guyardo, executive vice president of Television & Marketing at HSN, in a statement. “Together, we’re about to launch one of the most competitive loyalty programs in the television shopping industry.”
