American Educational Products Inc., Boulder, CO, has acquired To-Sew Inc., a direct marketer of sewing instruction kits, for roughly $1.3 million in cash. To-Sew, Canoga Park, CA, had sales of $1.6 million in 1998. American Educational Products will relocate To-Sew’s operations to its Summit Learning facility in Fort Collins, CO. To-Sew makes most of its sales by mailing catalogs, posters and promotional materials and by attending teachers’ conventions.
