One fan at today’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Detroit, MI, will get the chance to win $1 million in a Taco Bell promotion.
The promotion, run for the second year in a row at the game, offers up the challenge for one fan (randomly chosen) to throw at least five baseballs through a Taco Bell target within 30 seconds during pre-game ceremonies. Former Detroit Tigers All-Star pitcher Mark “The Bird” Fidrych will help the fan as a pitching coach.
The fan gets two tickets to the All-Star Game, a one-year supply of Taco Bell food ($260 worth of Taco Bell Bucks) and the chance at the $1 million grand prize. Taco Bell became the official quick service restaurant of Major League Baseball last season.
Participants had to enter their names into the Rapid Fire Sweepstakes from July 8 through July 10.
Last year, Tom Grey of Houston, TX, successfully completed the challenge and won the $1 million.
