SpiffyBaby Links Loyalty Points to Consumer Reviews

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Infant clothing and accessories e-tailer SpiffyBaby has launched a rewards program that will award visitors points for every purchase—and also for every product review they write.

Customers who register at http://www.SpiffyBaby.com will start collecting two points for every dollar they spend on merchandise and can take $1 off a future purchase by earning 55 points. Referring a friend or family member to register will earn 500 points and additional reward points when that referral goes on to make a first purchase.

In a drive to integrate consumer-generated content into the shopping experience, SpiffyBaby will also add user reviews to its loyalty program. Customers who write a review of 50 words or more of one of the site’s products will also earn 10 reward points.

So far, about 30 of the site’s products have been reviewed and awarded one to five stars by the signed reviewers.

New York-based SpiffyBaby offers upscale baby shower gifts such as baby jewelry along with European designer children’s clothing and natural skin care products for infants and new mothers.
