Sony Pictures Television International Names New EVP-Marketing

Sony Pictures Television International has named Kim Hatamiya to the new post of executive VP-marketing, effective immediately.

Hatamiya oversees marketing initiatives for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s TV and on-demand businesses outside the U.S. Those initiatives include distributing feature film and TV product to broadcasters, digital content providers and mobile carriers, international networks and local language production.

In her new role, Hatamiya will supervise strategic marketing, advertising, publicity, talent relations, promotions, on-air and off-air creative services, interactive and Internet marketing and research. She reports to Michael Grindon, president, Sony Pictures Television International.

Hatamiya joined SPTI in April 2003 as senior VP-marketing. Prior to that, she worked as senior VP and general manager of TV and film for Mindrocket Media/JP Kids, Inc., Los Angeles.
