Global DocuGraphix Inc., Lincolnshire, IL, a document management company, has acquired three businesses from Broomfield, CO-based Corporate Express. The three units are Bank ‘N Business Systems, Shreveport, LA; Inform, Nashville, TN; and Computer Software Inc., Norcross, GA. Global DocuGraphix’ services include direct marketing, warehousing, distribution, fulfillment and document management.
Motivational direct marketer Successories Inc., Aurora, IL, has received $1.2 million in proceeds from the sale of convertible preferred stock to a group of investors including an entity controlled by Quill Corp. president and CEO Jack Miller, who becomes a director of the company as part of the transaction.
John Larrabee has been appointed chief information officer of USA Networks Inc., New York, which owns the Home Shopping Network. Larrabee will oversee the company’s information services and all aspects of its technology planning. He was director of information for the Sinclair Broadcast Group. The appointment is effective June 21.
