ShopWiki Partners on Tech Guide from Men’s Health

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Comparison shopping engine ShopWiki has entered into a strategic partnership with fitness publication Men’s Health to let readers use ShopWiki to search more than 180,000 online stores for the best prices on the top picks among the products listed in the Men’s Health 2007 Tech Guide.

The guide, at www.menshealth.com/techguide/, offers recommendations on products in home entertainment, phones and cameras, media players, sporting goods, outdoor gear, tools and kitchen equipment, among other categories. Users can click on a category and find up to ten product listings. Clicking on a listing brings up a product detail page that includes a suggested retail price and links to ShopWiki’s comparison pages and buying guides.

“We’re thrilled that Men’s Health has chosen to work with ShopWiki, matching its incredibly useful content with our powerful search capabilities,” said Barry Salzman, ShopWiki chief operating officer. “Content providers are recognizing that our shopping search is the missing puzzle piece in a complete, useful experience for online customers.”

Launched in 2005 by former DoubleClick CEO Kevin Ryan, ShopWiki offers wiki-style buying guides that can be augmented with user reviews and content, as well as video product reviews and the ability to search for items by color.
