SED International Creates Incentive Reward Program

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

SED International, provider of computer hardware, wireless communications and consumer electronics, has established an incentive rewards program which provides paybacks for purchases of consumer electronics and computer technology products.

Points accrued for electronics and computer items are loaded onto American Express-branded SED Rewards cards which can be used at more than 180 retailers, online merchants and travel service providers. The program launched last month, with points tallied on the rewards cards starting on Jan. 1.

“It was important that we develop a program that rewards our customers in a real way and is not restrictive to only a limited number of rewards,” said Rob Kalman, vice president of marketing for SED International, in a statement.

Among the sources accepting the SED Rewards card are Amazon.com, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Pottery Barn, Avis, Disneyland Resort, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Royal Carribbean International and 1-800-Flowers.com.

The company, formerly known as Southern Electronics Distributors, is a provider of computer hardware, wireless communications, consumer electronics to partners throughout the U.S. and Latin America.
