Schick Sends Chicks to Nightclubs

Quattro for Women Crews give
away razors in nightclubs

Schick is sampling its Quattro for Women razors in nightclubs this summer.

The Hands-Off Tour sends street teams of women to 13 markets in a Quattro-branded BMW X5 SUV to hand out razors in nightclubs and bars, play games and give away T-shirts with the slogan “Hands-Off. It’s Hers.”

The crew makes retail appearances during the day, rewarding shoppers who buy the razor and showing Quattro’s TV spot on a flat-screen TV. The tour began June 14 and runs through November via Innova Marketing, Minneapolis.

Schick parent Energizer Holdings, Inc., St. Louis, launched Quattro for Women in March with TV, print, P-O-P and a Web site that treated the razor like a racecar (April 5 Xtra). The site gave away 115,000 razors as samples in its first month, via Colangelo Synergy Marketing, Darien, CT.
