Rodale, Emmaus, PA, has created a new business unit, Rodale Interactive, that will expand and enhance the company’s Internet ventures, whether through development or partnerships. The managing director of Rodale Interactive will be Pat Corpora, president of Rodale Books.
The new unit will build on Rodale’s already extensive Web-based operations, which include 50 sites, an online bookstore, and Rodale’s Online Health. Strategy calls for the health information company to leverage its content beyond the online versions of its print brands.
