Report: Mobile Advertisers Targeting Moms Should Heavy-up on the Weekends

If a brand is targeting the mom demographic with mobile campaigns, it’ll want to pay particular attention to their advertising efforts on the weekends. According to recent report from Jumptap, mothers’ use of mobile devices is dramatically higher than the average U.S. consumer’s usage on Saturdays and Sundays.

Jumptap’s MobileSTAT (“STAT” stands for “simple targeting and audience trends”) report for May, “Mobile Moms,” finds that moms are heavy mobile users. According to the report, there are 85 million moms in the U.S. Of this segment of the population, 56 million (65 percent) have a mobile device
