AccuData founder Vilnis Ezerins, will continue to run Alvion Technologies Inc., a Cape Coral. FL firm that was spun off from AccuData in 1999. Alvion provides e-commerce and data management systems to the list industry.

Stacey Girt will remain AccuData president. There are no plans to move the company, nor make any changes within its 150-person employee base, according to Primis CEO Robert K. Sher.

Primis, a new player in the marketing data services field, is led by Sher, COO Daniel P. DiCaro, and executive vice president E. Jeffrey Lyons.

AccuData’s acquisition is the first step in turning Primis into an integrated database marketing information company, said Sher, noting that Primis plans to acquire information processing, database management and analytic solutions firms. He anticipates acquiring two or three more companies within 18-24 months.

Primis’s niche will be direct marketing firms that spend up to $1 million a year on data, list and processing services.

Before co-creating Primis, Sher founded and served as CEO of KnowledgeBase Marketing, Inc., DiCaro was president/COO of CPRi, Inc., a marketing service firm. Lyons and DiCaro co-founded management consulting firm Gray Drake Partners.

All three founders will serve on the Primis board of directors, along with Robert D. Blank and David G. Chandler, managing directors of William Blair Capital Partners. William Blair funded the venture.
