P&G Seeks Alternative Uses of Bounce in Contest

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Procter & Gamble is pushing its Bounce fabric-softener with a contest that offers the chance for the winning entry to appear in an upcoming print ad.

It’s the latest promotion from P&G that gets people thinking about the different ways to use the Bounce product beyond the dryer like in a gym bag, in a car or stuffed into sneakers.

People can send stories of 335 words or less to http://www.BounceEverywhere.com through June 3. Entries will be posted on the site. Judging will be based on the cleverness of the story and appropriateness of the story to the theme.

Lifestyle expert Sissy Biggers will judge the entries. The winning story will be included in a Bounce print advertisement in a lifestyle magazine. One winner each week will receive free cleaning service for a month for their home.

Online marketing supports the promotion. D.L. Blair, Inc., handles the drawings for P&G.
