Pepsi’s Interactive Ads Lets Passersby Download Videos

Pepsi has placed interactive billboards in numerous locations that let consumers download viral video clips onto their cell phones.

Locations include bus shelters and pay phones in Los Angles and Orange County in California, Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Denver, CO and Washington, DC.

The ads will be up until early June. The video clips were hip-hop performances from a series called Mic Pass.

Bluetooth provide the wireless technology. The company estimates that 400 million Bluetooth enabled mobile phones were sold in 2006.
