Passion Fragrance Teams with Daytime Soap

Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion fragrance is giving daytime soap opera fans a taste of a star’s life with an online sweepstakes offering a walk-on role on NBC’s Passions show.

The fragrance brand has teamed up with the like-named daytime drama as part of a push to boost perfume sales with a consumer promotion.

Fans can enter the Live Your Passion sweepstakes at NBC.com/Passions/ElizabethTaylor through June 29. The grand-prize includes a trip for two to Los Angeles to visit the set of Passions. The winner gets a walk-on appearance in the show. Lesser prizes include autographed posters by Taylor and a Passions fragrance package.

Online ads and in-store signage support the sweepstakes.

The Passion fragrance is being re-launched with a new image featuring Taylor from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The perfume is available in more than 20,000 retail stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, including CVS/Pharmacy, Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart and Sears.
