Boise Cascade realized $50.4 million in net income during second quarter 2004, a turnaround from a $3.9 million loss a year earlier. The Boise, ID-based paper and wood supply firm reported sales of $3.4 billion, up from $1.93 billion a year ago. The wuarter ended June 30.
