Nicole Miller Designs Dresses for Campbell Soup Promo

The Campbell Soup Co. has joined the fight against heart disease through a promotional partnership with television, film and Broadway star Jane Krakowski of NBC’s “30 Rock” and runway designer Nicole Miller.

Both Miller and Krakowski appear in Campbell’s “AdDress Your Heart” program to help raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement to wipe out heart disease—the No. 1 killer of women in America—and stroke.

At a new Web site visitors can vote through Feb. 6 for their favorite three exclusive dress designs created by Miller. Each vote triggers a $1 donation to Go Red For Women movement, up to $275,000. The winning dress will be revealed when Krakowski wears it at a red carpet event in February to celebrate American Heart Month. The date the voting ends, Feb. 6, coincides with National Wear Red Day, when people wear red clothing to remind others of the cause.

“I hope my involvement will raise awareness for the cause and help educate women of all ages about the importance of knowing their risk factors and living a healthful lifestyle,” Krakowski said in a release.
Campbell Soup said it is committed to promoting heart health through many of the products it makes and the causes it supports. In addition to contributing $1.8 million to the American Heart Association, the company markets a wide variety of heart healthy products. At the promotional site, Campbell lists a number of products that fit that category including, Healthy Requests Soups, V* Low Sodium Vegetable Juice, Prego Heart Smart Italian Sauce and Premium Chunk Chicken.

Also at the site, a “tell a friend” link lets visitors invite a friend to participate in the program.
Campbell Soup is also participating in The Heart Truth campaign, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, which aims to increase awareness of the risk of heart disease.
