Nickelodeon Brings Tweens Mobile Entertainment

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Nickelodeon has formed a multi-year worldwide partnership with Sorrent, Inc., a mobile entertainment developer and publisher to develop mobile applications based on Nick’s new everGirl brand.

Mobile phone toting tweens will access content and community applications set to launch for the back-to-school season and will be part of Nick’s multi-million dollar integrated marketing campaign.

EverGirl integrates a Web site, pop music and a customized line of apparel and accessories to create a lifestyle brand for girls.

This is the second wireless license that Sorrent has obtained from MTV Networks, a division of Viacom. The company also announced a multi-year licensing deal with Spike TV, the first network for men, to publish wireless games based on the new Ren & Stimpy Adult Party cartoon.
