Lotterific

Luckysurf is in the final stages of talks with the California lottery
to come out with a branded
"Lotterfic" product.  The San Francisco-based outfit has been in
business for years, and they are now a whisker away from partnering
with the multi-billion dollar per year industry of the California
Lotto.  Scratchers, PowerBall and pick six- just the beginning here.
Allegedly, Luckysurf will be given the rights to a Fox-network,
primetime slot to debut their new product, "SurfSational."
SurfSational will partner with cast members from past TV hits, "Laguna
Beach" as well as "The O.C" and feature million dollar giveaways,
trips around the world and thousands of "Itchy and Scratchy"
Scratchers as Fox anticipates the upcoming "Simpsons" theatrical
release.

Not So Terrific

Falling in the category of "not the best" news, the "Free Gas" and
"Free Groceries" LEC-billing phone offers do not give away free gas.
Or free groceries.  This coming after thousands of fed up citizens
printed out their filled-out landing pages and showed up at their
local supermarkets and gas stations DEMANDING to be compensated.
Jaxton Miller of San Antonio, TX had this to say on his way to prison
this morning.  "Them dirty dogs claimed Free Gas, so me and Ma filled
out the form, drove both our pick-ups to the SHELL and handed them our
printed web site pages.  Heck, we wasn’t even asking for Free Gas, but
Ma was at the library checking her easy-mails and she had an offer
from "JuliaC" to get some Free Diapers for our baby.  She opened it on
up and after filling some stuff out, we saw this free gas offer.  Free
diapers is one thing, but I ain’t passing up no free gas.  Library let
us print that puppy out and the darn SHELL station would not redeem

Marginally Terrific

Smack in the middle of Lotterific and Not So Terrific just might be
"marginally terrific."  Marginal is a term we are familiar with these
days.  99% of new email campaigns that make their debut on various
networks across the industry?  Marginal.  99% of new sweepstakes and
promotional ideas?  Basically they are all Homer’s wife, Marginal.
Industry gossip, news and highlights, be it true or untrue?  Marginal,
at best.
