AMERICAN GREETINGS CORP.: is offering ringtones of the Slinky jingle (“A spring, a spring, a wonderful thing, everyone knows it’s Slinky”), video clips from old commercials, screensavers and more through a deal with toymaker Poof-Slinky, Plymouth, MI. American Greetings’ AG Interactive division distributes the Slinky features, its first foray into retro-product content.

MJM: New York, has formed an Interactive division to extend its event-marketing expertise with digital and multimedia services. WPP-owned MJM will run MJM Interactive from its Washington, DC, office. The agency specializes in trade shows, meetings and events.

HARD ROCK INTERNATIONAL: has named Romy Mehlman regional director of marketing. She will spearhead marketing efforts for the Western U.S. region, including local cafe events, live music, sponsorships, promotions and special events. Most recently, she was director of Worldwide Market Research, Columbia TriStar Marketing Group, for Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she took the lead on domestic and international testing for all theatrical releases and implemented global and domestic marketing programs.

MARKETING MANAGEMENT ANALYTICS: and Copernicus Marketing Consulting and Research have joined forces to launch a sponsorship evaluation service. The service tracks how a sponsorship program affects three key measures: sales-based ROI and brand and customer equity. MMA and Copernicus, both of Wilton, CT, are independent operating units of Carat.
