TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX: is teaming up with USA Today to bring “The Simpsons” movie to readers in a real-life Springfield under a new contest. The promotion pits competing communities across the U.S. named Springfield against one another for a chance to win a hometown premiere of the movie on July 26. Each town named after the fictitious location where the animated show take place is asked to send a three- to five-minute-long film showing the community’s “Simpson Spirit.” Videos can be sent to The Simpsons Movie Springfield Challenge, Attn: Gwyne Ortiz, Twentieth Century Fox, 10201 W. Pico Blvd., 88/3023, Los Angeles, CA, 90035. Submissions will be posted online at USAToday.com where viewers can vote for their favorite through July 9. Fox will provide each participating town with a digital camera, “The Simpsons Movie” posters and character art.

ELAN HOME SYSTEMS: has hired OTT Communications to handle all marketing for the launch of a new brand of multi-room audio/video/telecommunications systems. OTT will handle naming, package design, advertising and Web development as well as sales and marketing for Elan’s ElanHomeSystems.com new brand.
