CROCS: celebrated the opening of its first East Coast stores last week with a CD giveaway. The footwear company gave out 3,000 CDs featuring up-and-coming artists to the first 3,000 people who tried on a pair of newly launched You by Crocs shoes at its Boston and New York City locations. The brand operates more than 25 company owned retail stores globally. The new stores join a third U.S. Crocs outlet in Santa Monica, CA.

DR PEPPER: is rolling out a new flavor, Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr Pepper, the third flavor extension in the brand’s history. The beverage combines the taste of Diet Dr Pepper with a sweet cherry dipped in chocolate. The flavor is available for a limited time. Dr Pepper’s first brand extension, Cherry Vanilla, launched in 2004, followed by a second, Dr Pepper Berries & Cream.

PIZZA HUT: is created out a new menu item, Double Deep Pizza, and is running radio promotions to support the launch. In select markets, people have a chance to win prize packages by calling their local radio station when they hear a Pizza Hut commercial played back-to-back on-air. Customers will also be encouraged to sing their rendition of “How Deep is Your Love” for a chance to win prizes during in several markets. The Double Deep Pizza includes 50% more cheese and toppings and is available for a limited time for $12.99 in three varieties: Supreme, Meaty and Veggie.
