Neiman Marcus Income Drops

Neiman Marcus, Inc. posted a net loss of $42 million for the fourth quarter compared to net income of $34.3 million for the same period last year.

The direct marketer and retailer reported revenue of $915.5 million for the quarter ended July 29, up 6.6% over revenue of $839.8 million last year.

The Dallas company attributed these results largely to “the amortization of customer lists and lease agreements” and other factors associated with its acquisition by Texas Pacific Group and Warburg Pincus LLC last year.
