National Retail Foundation Offers Data Quality Evaluation Service

The National Retail Foundation has teamed up with Acxiom Corp. to offer its members free analysis of their customer data quality. The data evaluation will also compare their data with retail industry standards.

To take advantage of the new offering, retailers submit a sample file of their data to the NRF Data Quality Analysis program. In return they receive a report comparing overall address accuracy, name quality, and the level of customer data integration achieved with that of the retail industry.

“Data quality is a critical issue for customer-driven retailers,” said Cathy Hotka, vice president, information technology, National Retail Foundation, in a statement.
