Monster Offers and Ad Shark Complete Their Merger to Form Newco

Monster OffersAfter announcing their plans to merge on May 9, Monster Offers and Ad Shark Inc. completed their merger on Wednesday. Monster Offers, the daily-deals aggregator and analytics provider, is combining with Ad Shark, a mobile advertising and content distribution platform, to form Newco. The new post-merger entity will aim to leverage the all-important “synergies” and cost-saving opportunities that the move will yield. Monster Offers signed its first deal with Ad Shark back on March 1. As part of that agreement, Ad Shark was to provide sales and marketing services for Monster Offers’ organic and aggregated daily deals. Ad Shark was also to distribute Monster Offers’ deals, offers and promotions via Ad Shark’s network of mobile advertising developers, publishers and partners. “We are very pleased and excited to have this merger completed,” said Wayne Irving II, CEO and chairman of Newco. “As the company moves forward, we will now be able to concentrate our joint efforts to build a unified company, full of innovation and solutions that better serve the needs of today’s online mobile advertisers and consumers.” (PR Newswire)
