MeritDirect has formed the Strategic Services Group. The new operation includes Strategic Consulting, Merit Digital, b2bbase and Insert Media.
The Strategic Consulting unit will offer consulting in the circulation planning, campaign analysis and planning, lifetime value, database marketing, telemarketing, catalog design and layout, square inch analysis, merchandising, strategic planning and direction, database construction areas, among others.
The Merit Digital platform provides messaging through display media – not just to Web site abandoners, but to offline customers and prospects as well. These operations bring the measurability of direct marketing into the online display space.
The b2bbase is a transactional prospecting and customer optimization program for business to business catalogers. It houses five years of recency, frequency and monetary data, as well as product buying behavior.
The Insert Media unit focuses on the media channels that allow advertisements to ride along with communications sent to a company’s customers.
The Strategic Services Group is staffed by a combination of old and new MeritDirect employees, including VP and director Ed Larkin; VP and director Dan Plunkett; VP Dan Harding; director and marketing consultant Andy Joyce; director of insert media Jen Gonch; and marketing analyst Kevin Hope.
