Maximizer Names Vivek Thomas President

Maximizer Software Inc., a customer relationship management solutions provider, has named Vivek Thomas president. Thomas is currently managing director of Maximizer’s Europe, Middle East and Africa division. He will succeed John Caputo on June 1.

Caputo is leaving Maximizer Software as president to pursue a new venture in real estate and finance but will continue to serve as a strategic corporate advisor to Maximizer. Caputo joined Maximizer Software in 2000.

Thomas joined Maximizer Software in 2002 as director of Americas sales and within four years was promoted to vice president in the Americas, then managing director of EMEA. Thomas today oversees all sales, marketing, distribution and operations for EMEA including the company’s extensive business partner network across the region.

Prior to joining Maximizer, Thomas held senior management positions with CRM vendor FrontRange Solutions, Business Objects and Sony Corp.

Mike Richardson, head of customer care in EMEA, will assume the position of managing director, EMEA on June 1. Richardson joined Maximizer EMEA in 2000 where he has held a variety of management positions including head of professional services and operations.
