Mail Delivery to Haiti Resumes

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

The U.S. Postal Service resumed international mail service to Haiti Tuesday.

Mail service to the Caribbean nation was stopped temporarily on Jan. 15 in the wake of the earthquake that destroyed most of Haiti Post’s infrastructure and service capacity, according to the USPS.

The postal service has continued to accept mail for Haiti and held it for delivery at five International Service Centers. More than 2,000 pounds of international mail will be entered into the country this week.
