Macy’s Creates Parade and Entertainment Group

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Macy’s Corporate Marketing has created the Macy’s Parade and Entertainment Group and promoted executives to head the teams.

The group leads two efforts: securing entertainment partnerships that will enhance its national and local special events, and to continue to produce the retailer’s well-known national events, such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks held in New York City.

The former group vice president of annual and special events at Macy’s East, Robin Hall, has been named senior vice president of the new group. He will work with the company’s event partners to grow the company’s event’s portfolio. He will also be responsible for entertainment marketing programs such as film, television and music industry tie-ins, as well as third-party marketing relationships.

Amy Kule, the former vice president of annual events marketing and promotions at Macy’s East, has been promoted to group vice president of Macy’s Parade & Entertainment Group. She will oversee event marketing and partnerships. The work includes developing significant national and regional events along with the accompanying in-store media and marketing materials for third party sponsors.
