Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Rymax Marketing Services, Inc. is taking advantage of the popularity of gift cards by launching its own gift card division.

The new division, which launched yesterday, manages and offers retail gift cards for 30 different retailers, in addition to the offering merchandise as customer rewards or employee incentives, the company said.

The cards can be redeemed for merchandise at a variety of merchants, including Bloomingdales, Banana Republic, Gap, Macy’s The Macaroni Grill, Hertz, Pottery Barn and other retailers.

Each can be customized with company logos or other art, and is available in increments ranging from $25 to $500, depending on the retailer.

“There is such a need in the market,” Jeanne Coutts, events manager for Rymax Marketing Services, Inc., said. “Where there is big demand, we want to be there.”

Rymax is also offering experiential gift cards to give recipients varying experiences as a reward. Such offers include a day of kayaking for the outdoors person, or professional cooking lessons for the cooking enthusiast.
