Live From NCDM: Graham, Wheaton Debut Data University

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Jim Wheaton and Mark T. Graham have launched Data University, a data-use training and consulting organization. Data University offers both on-site and at-a-distance training sessions by a faculty of more than 30 database marketers.

Classes range from basic direct marketing terms and math to data use in designing creative efforts, testing and experimental design for database marketers and a variety of analytic techniques. Learning sessions are done on-site in front of live classrooms, allowing students to incorporate their actual data practices into their lessons.

The classes can be Webcast to remote locations. Both the sessions and faculty are available for post-class review.

The University also offers a series of pre-scheduled lessons, which are transmitted directly to enrollees’ desktops.

Wheaton is a principal at Wheaton Group, Chapel Hill, NC, and Graham is president of Lincoln, NE-based eNtelligy Marketing Inc. Data University (www.datauniversity.org) is based in Lincoln.
