Live from Ad:Tech: Target Design for All Takes Top Award

Target Design for All by interactive agency R/GA took Best in Show Monday evening at the 9th Annual ad:tech awards and also won in the Best Consumer Web Site category. The site can be viewed at Designforall.target.com.

The program considers work in 22 categories ranging from e-mail marketing and banner ads to new marketing technologies and rich media. The goal is to salute and help promote groundbreaking achievement in interactive marketing.

The awards program was held in the ballroom at the Hilton Hotel on 6th Avenue in New York City, the same site as the ad:tech conference, which ends today. Only a smattering of people attended the event, despite the festivities swirling around the program, including a flute of champagne garnished with a slice of strawberry that was offered to all attendees as they entered the ballroom. Even as the category winners were announced, more than half had no one in attendance to accept the award.
