Putman Media Files Move to Edith Roman
Putman Media Inc. has transferred management of its magazines’ postal and e-mail lists to Edith Roman Associates Inc. and its e-mail management affiliate ePostDirect.
Walter Karl Inc. previously oversaw these 535,982 postal and 151,000 e-mail records. Roman and Walter Karl are both owned by InfoUSA Inc.
Roman represents several other business-to-business publishers, including CMP Business Media, McGraw-Hill and VNU Business Media. Among Putman’s titles are Control Design, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
MeritDirect Lands Penton Media Portfolio
MeritDirect recently was named manager of the entire Penton Media portfolio. Together the lists include a total of 1.6 million subscribers in 10 databases, 37 postal lists and 23 e-mail files.
Penton properties cover a dozen niche markets, including industrial and business management, engineering and technical, electronics, food service, hospitality and government.
ALC of New York LLC Wins Time Life Lists
ALC of New York LLC was chosen to oversee the Time Life Inc. list portfolio. Millard Group Inc. was the previous manager.
The appointment involves six files, including a last-one-year buyers’ master file with more than 2 million names. The number of data cards has been consolidated to six, down from the former total of some 16 list segments.
