  • Frost & Sullivan Goes to MetaResponse

    MetaResponse Group has been named to manage the Frost & Sullivan lists. The files include more than 400,000 U.S. and 65,000 International business executives.

    Those named on the list purchased reports, attended executive summits, inquired and/or utilized the business consulting, training, growth strategies and market research services that are offered by Frost & Sullivan.

    The files consist of direct response-generated, telephone-verified names of senior level managers. Frost & Sullivan provides market consulting, corporate training, strategic analysis and competitive intelligence on existing and emerging high-technology and industrial markets.

    The file has been updated and cleaned. The list is selectable for such titles as president, marketing officials, HR executives, purchasing agents and more. Other selects will become available in the coming weeks, the Deerfield Beach, FL-based firm said.

  • Direct Media Hires Brokers

    Direct Media Inc. has hired Andre Marc and Esther Brown as business-to-business list brokers. Maryann Arnero has also joined the Greenwich, CT, firm as their assistant.

    Marc has eight years list management and brokerage experience in the high-tech and B-to-B sectors. Brown joins the company with more than 14 years of experience in list management and brokerage, specializing in the high-tech, B-to-B and e-mail markets. Arnero has been working as an assistant to Marc and Brown for almost eight years.

    Most recently, all three had worked at Statlistics Inc. in Danbury, CT.

  • ClientLogic Wins a New File

    ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services has been named to manage the new AmericanGreetings.com postal list properties. This new file offers 1.6 million paid online members and includes paid members at postal address from three Web sites: AmericanGreetings.com, BlueMountain.com and Egreetings.com.

    Selections will include some demographic and lifestyle information. Monthly hotlines will be available.

    AmericanGreetings.com, which provides greeting cards online, began charging for membership in December.

  • Victoria’s Secret Goes to ClientLogic

    Victoria’s Secret has named ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services to manage its buyers file. The date the appointment takes effect was not available at press time.

    The file names about 4.1 million last-12-month and 2.5 million last-six-month catalog and Internet buyers. In addition to its well-known line of lingerie, Victoria’s Secret carries sweaters, dresses, swimsuits, leathers, denims, shoes, handbags, perfumes, hosiery, coats, sportswear, linens and bedding.

    Earlier this year, Columbus, OH-based Victoria’s Secret had put its customer file out to bid after 21 years with one list management company, AZ Marketing Services, now 21st AZ Marketing, Farmingdale, NY.

    ClientLogic Specialists Marketing Services is in Weehawken, NJ.

  • Worldata Wins Ziff-Davis Files

    Ziff-Davis consolidated list management, assigning its controlled circulation magazine files to Worldata/WebConnect effective Aug. 15. Worldata, of Boca Raton, FL, already managed Ziff-Davis’ paid circulation lists.

    The controlled circulation files include eWeek, CIO Insight, Baseline, Interactive Week and Smart Partner.

    Worldata won the paid titles last October, at which time the controlled circ magazines were assigned to Direct Media Inc. Among the paid titles are Ziff-Davis Smart Business, PC Magazine, Computer Gaming World, Expert Games, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Family PC, Official U.S. PlayStation magazine and Extreme Tech.

    “These titles are the most widely read technology publications, and we’re proud to have them all under one roof,” said Worldata/WebConnect corporate vice president Jay Schwedelson.

  • Internet World Names Roman

    Internet World magazine tapped Edith Roman Associates Inc. and its interactive division e-PostDirect to manage its postal and e-mail lists, respectively.

The files had been managed in-house.

Internet World is a business technology magazine read by CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, presidents and others in similar positions. They are primarily technology or Internet professionals. The file includes 200,000 active postal names and 107,000 expires. The e-mail file numbers 62,000 records.

Selections from the postal list include hotline, job title, number of employees, business/industry type, geographic, gender, and buying influence. Among the e-mail selects are industry, job function, IT budget, Internet involvement, and products specified. Cost for the postal file is $215 per 1,000 names; for e-mail addresses, $300 per 1,000. Edith Roman Associates Inc. is based in Pearl River, NY.
