The top-two teams in the Big East won’t be the only ones facing off Saturday at Madison Square Garden. Winners of separate sweepstakes held by 7 UP and Lincoln Mercury will compete against each other for a chance to win up to $1 Million.

| 7 UP dangles a chance to shoot for a million |
The contestants, the winners of separate preliminary events Friday at ESPN Zone in Times Square, will have 35 seconds to shoot 10 free-throws at the opposite ends of the court.
Contestants will earn $10,000 for each successful free throw, with the one having the most success given the chance to multiply his or her prize by 10 by making one shot from half court. Lincoln Mercury will also award a 2005 Lincoln Aviator SUV to the contestant that competes at Madison Square Garden.
7 UP promoted their Shoot for $1,000,000 @ Big East Sweepstakes on Big East Conference TV, P-O-P displays, 12-pack packaging and banners on 7UP.com and ESPN.com. The Lincoln Mercury Big East Shootout was promoted on its Web site and at dealerships. Entry for both sweepstakes was done online in an effort to promote their own Web sites. Both brands are sponsors of the Big East.
