LEGO Taps Experian for European DM Efforts

LEGO, the toy manufacturer, has signed a three-year contract with Experian to provide it with a database management system to help boost the speed and accuracy of its direct mail campaigns in Europe.

Terms were not disclosed.

Over the next three years, the toy company anticipates sending 17 million of its Shop at Home and Club catalogs to customers in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Holland, Austria and Switzerland. To this end, Experian will centrally manage LEGO’s European data processing requirements for LEGO, reportedly increasing the speed to market for country-specific and pan-European campaigns.
