Kraft Singles Steps Up for Second Minor League Ball Promo

For the American pastime, some love from the big name in American cheese. For the second year in a row, Kraft Foods is partnering its Kraft Singles cheese brand with Minor League Baseball for a ticket offer.

From now through Sept. 7, customers can bring an empty wrapper from Kraft singles American cheese to their local Minor League ballpark on Tuesday nights and get one ticket for free with the purchase of a second one.

“Since last year’s program was such a success, we are excited to team up with Minor League Baseball again this year for another season of family fun at the ballpark, “ Kraft Singles senior brand manager Clayton Wai-Poi said in a release. “With the ‘Tuesday Night Tickets’ deal, families can celebrate some of the season’s best traditions, whether it’s an outing to a baseball game or hot-off-the-grill cheeseburgers.”

The campaign, which launched April 13, is being supported with radio and newspaper ads, in-store promotions, and incentives for fans before, during and after the games at the stadium.
Tickets must be purchased through the stadium box offices on the n8ight of the games, and the offer is not valid for 10 Minor league teams around the country.

In a separate campaign, Kraft Singles and Disney ABC just named the winner in their “Single Best Town” search for the most unique American locale. Three Lakes, WI was chosen from 10 finalists and more than 400 total entries. As winners, the town’s 2,300 residents will receive a block party later this summer featuring country band Love and Theft and a roster of TV stars from ABC/SoapNet.
