Kraft Foods is concluding a two-month-long on-pack promotion with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and its Macaroni & Cheese brand offering the chance to win a space adventure.

People who buy the macaroni and enter promotional codes inside the box at www.thecheesiest.com could win a visit the center through May 31.

Ten families will win the trip, with one selected to launch a Super Loki rocket, which can travel about 45 miles to 75 miles in altitude. Second- and third-prize winners will receive youth flight suits with helmets and Kraft lunch bags, respectively.

Kraft has received 256,000 entries from 68,000 registrants so far, and more than 1.2 million hits on the Web site since the promotion launched in March. The company is promoting the sweepstakes on 38 million boxes of macaroni and cheese in grocery stores nationwide. Each box includes a $5 discount off admission to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Visitors to the site can download a space-themed screensaver, as well the discount admission pass.

On-pack materials, P-O-P, a TV spot and online marketing supports the promotion, which Momentum Worldwide is handling.

In other news, Kraft Foods has launched a new cracker tied to its popular macaroni and cheese. The Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Crackers will be available in three varieties, including Cheddar, White Cheddar and Mild Cheddar. Each box will sell for about $2.99.
