Kellogg Pushes Super Bowl Contest

Kellogg is plugging its second Super Bowl contest through special-edition boxes of Frosted Flakes this month.

The “NFL Play 60 Super Bowl Contest” is part of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Earn Your Stripes program, which encourages youngsters to eat right and overcome challenges to accomplish their goals.

Kids aged six through 13 are eligible to play and can enter online, the NFL’s Web site for kids, through Dec. 15. They must answer two questions about the importance of health and fitness.

The grand prize is a trip for three to Super Bowl XLIII, tickets to the NFL Experience and NFL Play 60 Kids Day, and hotel accommodations for seven days and six nights.

The winner will be selected by a panel of NFL players, including NFL Play 60 spokesmen Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints quarterback and Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss.

“The NFL Play 60 Super Bowl Contest is a great way to celebrate our young people who are committed to health and fitness by giving them this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said AnneMarie Suarez-Davis, Kellogg associate director for Kid’s Reay-To-Eat Cereals.

More than 50,000 kids entered the contest last year.
